Set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens, immerse and indulge at Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa. Enjoy handcrafted Afternoon Tea served in the picturesque Drawing room overlooking an ornamental lake. A selection of homemade sandwiches, pastries and mini cakes will be served alongside freshly baked scones.

Albrighton Hall was built by Thomas Ireland and his son in 1630 on the site of a much older building. Five generations of the Ireland family lived in the Hall until it eventually passed back to the Crown through the lack of heirs. The Hall was the consequently bought by Reverend Inigo William Jones, and was later inherited by his son in 1809. In 1848 the Hall became property of the General Studd.

In 1953 the Hall was converted into the Royal National College for the Blind; one of his most famous resident was Rt. Hon Lord David Blunkett who boarded at Albrighton Hall in 1960’s.

The traditional afternoon tea is served in the historic drawing room decorated in original wood panelling with an original fireplace. Enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, made with the finest and local products, home baked scones and a variety of mini cakes.
