Afternoon Tea Awards 2023 - 'Award of Excellence'

The Guardsman is a five-star hotel in the heart of Westminster, close to St James’ Park, Buckingham Palace and The Houses of Parliament.

Winner of the Best Afternoon Tea by Condé Nast Johansens, their Afternoon Tea is served in The Drawing Room and Library, with a sumptuous Art Deco theme, chandeliers and mirrors.

Enjoy a quartet of finger sandwiches, from Burford brown egg mimosa and rocket mayonnaise served on turmeric loaf through to Goldstein Scottish salmon, cream cheese and lemon butter on sourdough. The patisserie selection features Raspberry Posey, Black rose, Flower Pot and Toadstool, all inspired by the Royal Parks. Freshly baked fruit and plain scones are served with Dorset clotted cream and preserves.

Choose from a selection of fine teas and infusions from Canton Teas, widely recognised as one of the world’s finest suppliers. 

The Guardsman’s Afternoon Tea is priced at £65 per person, inclusive of a glass of Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne. Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-free Afternoon Teas are also available (see menu for details).
