To celebrate the festive season, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square are offering an special Winter Afternoon Tea from 8th November - 31st December 2023.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is a chic, contemporary hotel in the heart of Marylebone, close to shops of Oxford Street and moments away from Marble Arch.

Afternoon Tea at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square blends the essentials of the traditional western Afternoon Tea ceremony, with elements of Japanese culture and tradition.

The Afternoon Tea culinary experience has been co-curated with Aoyama Flower Market and Nobu’s Chef Michael The menu starts with canapes of a shrimp salad roll with jalapeño dressing and beef tataki bun complemented with wasabi sauce. Sushi choices include salmon new style, alongside Nobu’s famous Yellowtail jalapeño and tomato ceviche. Mushroom Matsuhisa taco’s and crispy kara-age conclude the savoury options before a palette cleanser of Lemongrass ginger tea with sorel sorbet is served.

The Festive themed sweet dishes have been inspired by the Spring season in Japan and the flowers that bring the country alive. Cherry blossom, known for its array of colours and links to accomplishment, has been paired with Ume boshi (or salted plum) to give a tangy yet sweet Ume Cherry Boshi Mousse. Other sweet treats include a unique Miso Chocolate Caramel Tart along with a Matcha Honey Ginger and a sweet Passion Fruit Mandarin Madeleine. Complementing the sweet selection is a Hojicha tea cheesecake along with freshly baked scones, served with raspberry mint jam, Cornish clotted cream and yuzu curd.

A vegetarian option is also available and a glass of champagne can be added.
