Dust off your Regency best, as London’s finest residence, The Lanesborough partners with Netflix & Shondaland to launch London’s exclusive Queen Charlotte-themed Afternoon Tea.

Carefully crafted by The Lanesborough’s Head Pastry Chef, Salvatore Mungiovino, the menu will pay tribute to the key characters in Queen Charlotte, in addition to ‘Lanesborough House’ as we now know it, remodelled in 1825 in the fashionable classical style by William Wilkins at the highpoint of Regency era and today, London’s quintessential Regency building.

The experience comprises a decadent array of sumptuous finger sandwiches, including Tea cured salmon with lemon and caper cream; freshly-baked scones with cream and jam, and a delicious selection of delicately crafted sweet treats. Mungiovino's curated cake and sweet treat concept will feature four signature highlights, including the Danbury Delight, inspired by Lady Danbury's love of hats and jewels, and the Your Majesty, an exquisite hand-crafted sharing cake dedicated to the star of the show Queen Charlotte.

Afternoon Tea takes place in The Lanesborough’s richly decorated dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof. An exhibition of modern art by British based artists adorning the walls adds to the ambience.

Situated moments from Hyde Park in Knightsbridge, this landmark building of 1828 has been restored to its original splendour and is one of London's finest 5 star premier hotels.

Should the party cancel within less than the given time or more than half of the guests not arrive, a cancellation charge of £50 per person will apply.
