Please note from 17th November - 31st December only the Festive Afternoon Tea will be served. Click here for more details.
L’oscar London, a luxurious boutique hotel, have launched their new Afternoon Tea, inspired by the historical grade II* listed building that was once the headquarters of the Baptist Church.
L’oscar London is located in the heart of London’s Southampton Row, close to Covent Garden, Theatreland, Soho, and the West End. Built between 1901 and 1903, in a style coined “Edwardian Free Baroque”, it was the London headquarters of the Baptist Church, and has since been restored by world renowned French decorator, Jacques Garcia.
Afternoon Tea at L’oscar is served in L’oscar Restaurant which features an illuminated Onyx bar with ceilings lined with mirrors, gilded panels and stunning original art. The restaurant offers all the charm and sophistication of a Parisian café.
In true tradition, guests can expect delicious savoury and dainty sandwiches including pastrami and cheddar cheese, egg mimosa and black truffle, and smoked Scottish salmon filled with lemon cream cheese. Sweet treats on offer include delicately crafted cakes such as a Pistachio & Raspberry Battenberg and a Choux Bun with Earl Grey Ganache and Mandarin Gel.
To cleanse the palate, guests can choose from flutes of Champagne or a selection of loose tea leaves from Newby.
Afternoon Tea is served everyday from 2.30pm to 5pm and costs £49 per person, or £59 with a glass of Champagne.
